TRAVELLERS TO INDIA

Public Health England Advisory Committee for Malaria Prevention for UK Travellers has issued amended information for certain areas of India. This was after publication of the NPA malaria chart. See the update at npa.co.uk/news.

2016/17 FLU SEASON

The Department of Health has issued a Central Alerting System alert, “Influenza Season 2016/17: Use of Antiviral Medicines”, stating that antiviral medicines can now be prescribed by GPs and other primary care prescribers on NHS prescriptions.
