The National Pharmacy Association (NPA) has some speakers lined up who will discuss a raft of issues from FMD and implications of Brexit to patient safety, including: Nikesh Patel, lead support pharmacist at NPA who will be alongside Satyan Kotecha pharmacy owner and chair of the West Midlands Pharmacy Local Professional Network to discuss the commissioning of private services.

While Leyla Hannbeck, director of pharmacy at NPA and Claire Bryce Smith, director of fitness to practice at GPhC will talk about the most common patient safety incidents that have been reported by community pharmacists so far in 2018.

Raj Patel, chair of Community Pharmacy FMD Working Group and NPA board member will be alongside other panel members to discuss FMD implantation and Brexit.

David Gerrett, senior pharmacist patient safety at NHS Improvement and Leyla Hannbeck, will also be talking about improving the safety of opioid use.
