Revalidation requirements eased due to Covid-19
Registrants due to submit their revalidation records and renew their registration between May 1 and November 30 2021 will only need to submit a reflective account due to continued recognition of the pressures on pharmacy professionals during the Covid-19 pandemic, according to the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Pharmacy professionals will need to submit their reflective account via myGPhC as usual when renewing their registration and the GPhC has said it will be updating myGPhC to reflect the change in requirements.
The GPhC has urged pharmacy professionals to reflect on their experiences during the pandemic when completing their reflective account.
Full revalidation requirements will resume for renewal dates from 1 December 2021 and registration expiry dates from 1 February 2022, but this will be kept under review, added the GPhC.
