This CPD module is about the prevention of dental caries from a pharmacy perspective. It considers the extent and nature of dental cares, the constituents and use of toothpaste and other oral products, and current NHs recommendations for better oral hygiene.

  • The role of fluoride and other compounds in dentifrice products 
  • Developments and trends in products and equipment
  • Current NHS recommendations to promote better oral hygiene.
