The Department of Health and Social Care’s materials are based around the theme ‘Think Pharmacy First – See your pharmacist. Help us help you’. Campaign resources are available online at https://campaignresources.dhsc.gov.uk/campaigns/help-us-help-you-primary-care/think-pharmacy-first/ and this page includes links to a campaign toolkit, special media assets, posters, digital screens, and an ‘out of home’ creative.9
These require the pharmacy or other NHS service provider to log in to download ZIP files containing .pdf, .mp4, Excel spreadsheets, .jpg and other file types.
The link ‘Alternative formats including social media with BSL’ provides social media videos with British Sign Language (BSL) and suggested post copy supporting the ‘Think Pharmacy First’ campaign.
This also has alternative formats for a large print poster/flyer, an easy read 2-page leaflet, an audio version and a large print 2-page flyer and audio versions of the age eligibility poster.
It is also possible to order a Braille version of a large print poster. The large print and easy-read download is in web and print-ready versions with crop marks for professional printing.
The NHS ‘Help Us, Help You’ Pharmacy First Campaign is seen as primarily targeting working age adults (18-40) who may experience minor health conditions.
In addition, when it was launched, there was the intention: “It will also reach ethnic minority groups and those with disabilities, to ensure it is addressing key health inequalities.” No links are given specifically to campaign assets in different languages.
