IT outage fixed at Alliance Healthcare

Following an air conditioning outage at Alliance Healthcare UK last week, which caused service disruption across its network, the company has confirmed that the faults have been fixed, and that its IT system has been fully operational since Monday 11 September 2017. 

Teams at the wholesaler have been working around clock to process and pick orders, and the company says that it has made significant progress towards a full recovery of its service. As a result, 80% of its service centres are up and running and twice-daily deliveries have resumed. The company assures that its remaining sites will have recovered by close of play tomorrow (Thursday 14 September). 

The wholesaler has apologised for the disruption and says it has added 100 personnel to its service centres in order to process any remaining orders as quickly as possible.
