Community pharmacist and digital marketing expert, Saam Ali, and PharmData have developed a new platform that helps the public to find pharmacies offering the flu jab service quickly and easily (both NHS and private).

The Independent Community Pharmacist columnist describes the site as "a directory where pharmacies can create a profile based on the service they offer".

Pharmacists have the option to list for free or opt for a more premium listing at a cost of £20. In the premium version of the listing, they can provide more information, become a featured pharmacy, place more photos, set pricing and special offers and view analytics.

"The benefit to independents is that it increases their exposure at this time of year when Google is clearly showing an increase in traffic for the term 'flu jab'," commented Ali.
