- Many summertime activies can cause an imbalance between the water and sebum levels of the skin
- Customers can help prevent and manage summer skin problems by keeping hydrated, showering immediately after swimming and avoiding harsh soaps and bubble baths
- Acne can worsen in the summer so advise customers to use non-comedogenic products, including sunscreen, to blot sweat from their skin and to wash sweaty clothes
- Dry skin conditions can be managed by regularly applying an emollient and using gentle cleansing products.
