If you're providing a great service to your local community, why not gain some wider recognition and share your achievements with colleagues by entering this year's Independent Pharmacy Awards
Our awards recognise high standards, excellent teamwork and innovation in the independent sector. And they are the only awards that focus exclusively on the achievements of independent pharmacy teams. Winners will be presented with their awards at a lunchtime event at the Waldorf Hotel in London in October.
The 2015 award categories are:
€¢ Independent Pharmacist of the Year €“ recognising the independent pharmacist who has done the most to develop clinical services during the year. Sponsored by Numark.
€¢ Independent Pharmacy Innovation Award €“ for the independent pharmacist who has demonstrated the most innovative approach to running their business. Sponsored by the National Pharmacy Association.
€¢ Independent Pharmacy Team of the Year €“ this award recognises the team that has worked best together to improve patient care and business performance. Sponsored by TENA.
€¢ Key Staff €“ the award for a staff member who has gone beyond the call of duty to support a patient or group of patients. Sponsored by Reckitt Benckiser.
€¢ Pharmacy Team Learning and Development €“ recognises an independent pharmacist who has shown commitment to staff learning, training and personal development. Sponsored by Actavis.
The winner in each category will be presented with a certificate and a cheque for £500 in recognition of their achievements. See the advert on page 9 for further details. A card for entrants to supply preliminary details will be included in subsequent issues.
Short-listed candidates will be asked to provide a description of their work and how it qualifies them for the award in the category they are entering. They may also include pictures, press cuttings, testimonials and other supporting evidence where relevant.
