Alphega Pharmacy member Sefgrove Chemist celebrated 40 years in business with a special event for customers.

The south London pharmacy held competitions and raffles and customers were given goody bags filled by local businesses. Sefgrove Chemist was acquired in 1976 by Kirit and Daksha Patel. Daksha cut the ribbon at the entrance of Sefgrove Chemist to not only mark the 40th anniversary of the pharmacy, but also to celebrate the memory of the late Kirit Patel. A new look for the pharmacy was also revealed at the event including a new layout and design.

Following the successful day, Daksha Patel and her daughter Shinali McCusker said: “We're delighted at the fantastic turnout at our 40 year anniversary. It’s been a truly incredible day and we’re overjoyed that so many loyal customers and local businesses have attended the celebrations. We’re really grateful for all their support over the last 40 years. We’d also like to thank Alphega Pharmacy. It’s a real pleasure and a privilege to be part of a network of chemists and pharmacists who place great emphasis on going the extra mile to deliver outstanding customer service.”

Lucy Thomas, area account manager for Alphega Pharmacy UK, commented: “On behalf of everyone at Alphega Pharmacy, we extend our congratulations to Sefgrove Pharmacy on a fabulous 40 years and wish them continued success.”
