SORE THROAT TEST & TREAT
NHS England has confirmed that a ‘Sore Throat Test and Treat’ service will join the NHS Innovation Accelerator programme. The NPA thinks that, while this development demonstrates the government’s recognition of the importance of community pharmacy, it is conflicted by the funding cuts.
AYP WEEK 2016

OPPOSITION DAY DEBATE

NPA MEMBER FORUM, SCOTLAND

NORTHERN IRELAND 10 YEAR VISION
Health Minister Michelle O’Neill has published a 10-year vision to transform the current health and social care system. Of the18 specific actions, two focus on community pharmacy. More at www.health-ni.gov.uk.
WALES PHARMACY FUNDING
Vaughan Gething, Cabinet Secretary for Health, Well-being and Sport, has confirmed that, while community pharmacy funding is safe for two years, pharmacists will be expected to deliver new clinical services from April 2017.
