NEW TOOL LAUNCHED TO HELP MONTHLY DISPENSING BUSINESS

DENTAL SCRIPTS NI

The Health and Social Care Board NI is reminding pharmacy staff to be vigilant when dispensing dental prescriptions, and to take particular care to check that requested items are included in the BNF Dental Formulary. Read more at npa.co.uk/dental-scripts. 

NEW PAYMENTS SCOTLAND

Remuneration payments for Scottish contractors will include two new flat-rate payments. Both payments will be made in October. More at npa.co.uk/scot-pay. 

UPDATED ADVICE ON VITAMIN INTAKE

Public Health England advises that everyone aged one year and older should have an average daily intake of 10mcg vitamin D. More information at npa.co.uk/vitamin-d.
