Cinnarizine, promethazine and hyoscine are licensed for use in adults and children aged 10 years and over. Paediatric hyoscine tablets are available for children aged from 5 years. Promethazine syrup is licensed, at an appropriate dose, for use in children from the age of 2 years. Children under 2 years of age tend not to experience motion sickness.
