A quick reference guide for the diagnosis of urinary tract infections is being added to its collection of guides for the diagnosis of infectious diseases by Public Health England.

The series, which also covers topics such as chlamydia, fungal skin and nail infections, infectious diarrhoea, and managing common infections, gives guidance on diagnosis of the infections, using the microbiology laboratory, and appropriate use of antibiotics and antifungals in primary care.
