NHS England issues £755m tender including monoclonal antibodies
NHS England has issued a £755m procurement tender which includes the supply of monoclonal antibodies, with delivery to commence in March 2021.
The tender recognises the growing importance of monoclonal antibodies and aims to establish a pharmaceutical medicines framework for this group of medicines.
There are four lots in the tender, two for NHS Midlands and East, one for pan-London regions and one for South of England. The lots cover the supply of a number of pharmaceutical products, including annual tranche, cytokine modulators, other monoclonal antibodies, interleukin inhibitors, JAK inhibitors and medicines for migraine and asthma.
The one year framework for NHS England and East includes an optional extension of up to 12 months.
