Public Health England's national director for health and wellbeing Professor Kevin Fenton made his first visit in this role to a UK pharmacy on November 30.

Prof Fenton (pictured left) visited Bedminster Pharmacy, where he saw first-hand the public health work of the pharmacy team there. Prof Fenton received a flu vaccination from pharmacist and proprietor Ade Williams (pictured right). 

Mr Williams, winner of ICP's 2016 Independent Pharmacy Innovation Award, said: "This provides a great opportunity to showcase the work and role of local pharmacies like us promoting health and wellbeing locally."
