Omega Pharma strengthens senior management

Omega Pharma has appointed new supply chain and marketing directors, in a move that the company believes will strengthen its status as the number four consumer healthcare company in the UK. The appointments will facilitate further brand expansion within its market leading categories, including the recently acquired smoking cessation brand NiQuitin and the newly launched entry into vitamins with Men’s Health Lab, according to Omega Pharma.

Chrissy Blythin (pictured) has been appointed supply chain director for Omega Pharma UK and Ireland. The former Nestlé Food and Beverage supply chain director brings with her over twenty years of experience within branded FMCG manufacture and supply chain, and a reputation for delivering superior business results within a challenging environment, along with exceptional customer service. In this role, Chrissy will drive Omega Pharma’s development of a customer centric supply chain, and build a team that is passionate and focussed on adding value and efficiency to the business.

Holly Turner joined Omega Pharma as marketing director for UK and Ireland. The former GSK Consumer Healthcare global marketing director has a strong track record of driving change and building healthcare brands. Ms Turner said: "Omega Pharma has achieved unparalleled growth in the OTC market thanks to its excellence in customer partnerships, a uniquely strong innovation pipeline and considerable investment behind its brands. In my new role I will take the marketing execution to the next level ensuring long-term brand equity and growth for Omega Pharma."
