Breaking: New English Pharmacy Board chair elected

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) has today announced that a new English Pharmacy Board (EPB) chair and vice-chair have been elected.

Claire Anderson, a professor of pharmacy practice and policy at the University of Nottingham, takes over from Sandra Gidley as chair while Martin Astbury, a former RPS president, takes up the reins as vice-chair.

News of the result drew reaction on social media. Pharmacist Mo Murhaba tweeted: "Would be interested to see how members voted & how the newer recruits squared up - shame new blood hasn’t got opportunities but always next time."
