Tackling winter pressure

NHS England has launched a public facing campaign, with input from Pharmacy Voice, encouraging people to visit their pharmacy for winter ailments advice in order to avert winter pressures on general practice and A&E. ‘Feeling under the weather’ is aimed mainly at the over-60s and was due to run for six weeks between October and December. Reckitt Benckiser is also highlighting pharmacy as a source of winter ailments advice with its ‘No appointment necessary’ campaign. This includes educational POS material, in-store support, television and print advertising and online activity across its Lemsip, Lemsip Cough, Nurofen and Strepsils brands.
