Voltarol is continuing to lead the topical pain category with the launch of a new heat patch, says supplier GSK Healthcare.

Voltarol Heat Patch is non-medicated and provides targeted back and muscle pain relief by delivering “up to eight hours of long-lasting deep penetrating heat”. The continuous low-level heat from the patch works by “stimulating heat receptors to relieve pain, increasing blood flow to relax stiff muscles, reducing muscle spasms and delivering the body’s natural pain relievers”.

The launch is being supported by Voltarol sponsorship of the TV show Britain by Bike and “digital amplification”.
