Sir Kevin Barron MP, chairman of the All Party Pharmacy Group, has agreed to present the Independent Pharmacy Awards on October 1, at the Waldorf Hotel in London. Sir Kevin is the Member of Parliament for Rother Valley and is particularly interested in health issues, having been chair of the Health Select Committee between 2005 and 2010 and is currently co-chair of the All Party Parliamentary Health Group. This year’s IPA awards, designed to recognise and reward excellence in the independent sector, have received a record number of entries.
