AAH launches new van fleet

AAH has launched a new fleet of specially designed vans featuring state-of-the-art technology, the new AAH logo and livery, and images of selected pharmacy customers.

Steve Anderson, operations director at Celesio UK, AAH Pharmaceuticals’ parent company, said: “Our AAH vans are where AAH is most visible on a daily basis and so it is important to have the very best fleet on the road. However, a successful brand is based on more than an updated look, at AAH we strive to innovate and provide the best service we can to our customers. Our new state of the art AAH fleet of PharmaVans does just that, enabling us to deliver an enhanced pharmaceutical distribution service without compromise.”

The first 400 vans will feature AAH pharmacy customers, emphasising the importance AAH places on customer perception of its service. Chris Ridgway, from Ridgeways Chemist in Stoke-on-Trent, who will appear on the first 200 vans, said: “I know I can rely on AAH, my customers know they can rely on me. I’ve worked with AAH for 25 years and have always found them to be reliable and efficient, going the extra mile for me and my pharmacy. I am happy to appear on the side of the new AAH PharmaVans as I believe they are investing in their fleet for the benefit of their customers and our patients.”

The PharmaVan II is fitted with temperature controls that allow the cargo area and fridge, which are independent of each other, to continue operating while drivers make their deliveries. Temperatures are automatically  logged with real time viewing by the AAH Branch and Distribution network, and an audible alarm is triggered, and group email alert generated, if there is any deviation of temperature.
